Alert Dogs UK is an entirely not-for-profit organisation. Our key aims are:
to enable our clients to lead fuller, safer lives
to increase the availability of medical assistance dogs in the UK
to train exceptionally reliable and accurate dogs to standards above those set out by Assistance Dogs International
to be ambassadors for best practice by using the most humane, reward-based training methods, informed by up-to-date research and science
Our trainers and support staff donate their time and expertise, and operate as an unincorporated association. Third party specialist services and expenses are covered by fundraising, donations, and donations-in-kind. We are currently in consultation regarding registering for charitable status.
